Second Step

My second step was a long time happening.
I have a friend who is a professional web designer. He and I had been kicking around ideas for a web site for quite some time. Eventually we firmed up on an idea that I had wanted to do and he was also enthusiastic about.
Then life got in the way. And got in the way. And got in the way.
It took a long time to get the site published. It was largely my fault. As we were doing this as friends, it did not become the priority that it should have been. We had a really good idea, and we would have been one of the first sites in this area if we had acted promptly. Instead we became an also ran.
